Eric is the founder of Unit-e Technologies and an MBA graduate of the Johns Hopkins Carey Business School. He carries Bachelor degrees in Business Administration and in Simulation & Digital Entertainment from the University of Baltimore, is certified in audio engineering from the Sheffield Institute for the Recording Arts, and was a Certified Personal Trainer with the National Strength and Conditioning Association.
Eric founded his first company in 2005 (Pop’nKO Music & Entertainment, a game development studio), negotiated a multi-million dollar contract with a large international client, and ran operations out of a warehouse studio with 26 staff on a shoestring budget. He created his second company in 2011 (Unit-e Technologies, a manufacturing and development studio) and held the position of CEO for 11 years before stepping down into a creative director and business consulting role. During his tenure, the company created a slew of games and other projects in occasional collaboration with Andamiro, Sega of Japan, Namco, Fun Company, Adventure Solutions, Betson, and Player One, among others.
Eric joined the board of the Baltimore chapter of the IGDA in 2015 and still serves there today. From 2018 to 2021, Eric also co-founded the companies Jokers Games and Gold Farm, and in 2021 was the owner/operator for a street location for Jokers Games on The Block in Baltimore.
